Pastor Jerry Bishop

There are many influences which have shaped my life. The Lord brought me to see my need of a Savior as a young child, through a godly family and church. I spent my formative years working on the family farm, learning the value of hard work and patience. I attended Faith Baptist Bible College where I met my loving wife, to whom I am eternally grateful. Together, we have seven wonderful children. We attended The Master’s Seminary where the Lord continued to shape me into the kind of pastor He wanted me to be. For seven years, we served a loving Baptist Church in Iowa who were so gracious as to allow me to care for them. We then moved to L’Anse, Michigan in October 2004 to shepherd God’s sheep in this town. They have been a delight for these years.

My goal every Sunday is that Christ would be honored, as the Scriptures are proclaimed, so truth will impact our lives together.
